Kansas Supports BVL
Marcia Snider, Wellington, KS
The Wellington, Kan. post office's loss is BVLs gain. Thats because after almost 30 years as a mail carrier, Marcia Snider is retiring. The first female letter carrier hired by Wellington is leaving her duties at the post office behind and, therefore, will be able to spend more time with her other life as an avid bowler and her new career as the chairman of the Kansas BVL.

Marcia leaves no pancake unturned in her quest to raise funds for BVL.
Here's she's seen in action flipping pancakes at a recent BVL fundraiser.
Marcia has been involved with organized bowling since 1966. This past May marked her 35th year at the USBC National Bowling Tournament, and 40th year at the Kansas Womens state tournament.
Her new career as BVL Chair began several years ago. Since taking over the position, Marcia has worked tirelessly and enthusiastically for the BVL effort in the Sunflower State. Last year 44 of the 74 associations participated in the BVL
campaign and shes set on improving that number.
She believes in BVL and is very emotional when she talks about the BVL, says Kansas State USBC WBA Manager Sharon Giger. She goes out of her way to educate people about BVL. I know shell not let down on this shes very enthusiastic about this campaign!
Thanks Marcia and sorry for the USPS!
